Bigg Boss 14 winner Rubina Dilaik is a name that needs no introduction. Her journey in this show was full of laughter and tears and her heady and tall things were obvious to everyone. Rubina had recently spoken about suffering from depression and suicidal thoughts at the Bigg Boss house and now she has a long-talk about it on a leading entertainment portal.
Talking about her mental health right now, she said that it is a continuous process and it depends on what situation you are in. However, she mentioned that she consciously tried to find time for herself and tried to do yoga when she got the time. However, she also said that she would not be ashamed to admit the fact that sometimes it is difficult for her to return to her peace of mind.
She talked about the situation 9- years ago when she was unstable and extremist, as well as not knowing how to stay away from family and do both in personal and professional life. . She said that there was a time when a person kept himself away from the possibility of living a happy life and because of this he did not have empathy. She also explained how it affects confidence, lack of sleep, anxiety and depression where one has irritability, does not want to talk to anyone and feels frustrated.
She said, “That’s when I realized something was wrong. Sadly, such things are not talked about. You wonder what is happening. There are a lot of ifs .. why the relationship doesn’t work? Why am I not doing this or that, why? I don’t see a solution. Only then did I realize that the problem was somewhere inside”
In fact, she even mentioned back how she didn’t understand again because depression was still something that no one talks about loudly and so, she turned to self-care groups, listening to audiotape. She concludes that only online therapy can help her recover.
